The Coalition for Just Reparations (C4JR) publishes regular newsletters to share accurate and up-to-date information regarding the Yazidi Survivors’ Law (YSL) and to reflect the views and experiences of all actors involved in implementing this landmark transitional justice framework addressing atrocities committed by ISIL in Iraq.
This issue provides updates on recent developments in the implementation of the YSL, ongoing accountability efforts, challenges related to rehabilitation, selected findings from C4JR’s survivor satisfaction survey.

- Application statistics: 2,216 survivors received reparations in February 2026; 2,496 survivors have been declared eligible under the YSL, of whom 809 currently reside in Iraq.
