Eyzidi Organization for Documentation honored C4JR secretariat for contributing to the enactment of the Yazidi Women Survivors Law

February 1, 2022

On 27 January 2022, Eyzidi Organization for Documentation organized a ceremony to honor the owners of the initial proposal and supporters of the passage of the Yazidi Survivors Law in Baghdad and the success of passing the “Law of Missing Persons in the Genocide Campaigns Law No. 3 of 1999 legislated in the Kurdistan Region – Iraq.

C4JR Secretariat is delighted to see those efforts of all of its staff to promote survivor-centered approaches to reparations for ISIL survivors in Iraq recognized by a genuine Yezidi grassroots organization and a C4JR member.

We will double our efforts and work with survivors’ civil society and national and international partners to ensure the Yazidi Survivors Law is appropriately implemented.
