Iraqi human rights activists geared up for survivor advocacy

February 24, 2022

After five days of intensive work, 32 Iraqi human rights activists, and associates of the C4JR, received records certifying the successful completion of the Strategic Effectiveness Method workshop provided by the CVT´s New Tactics in Human Rights MENA Team!

This was an intense and vital experience for both NGO activists and survivors. Lessons learned and bonds created will be put to proper use: making sure survivors realize their right to reparations.

Creative ways will be sought and new roads have been taken to make the promise of reparations a reality for survivors of ISIL crimes in Iraq.
